Choosing your equipment
A boiler room can be short on space without being short on demand. Vaillant’s light-commercial ecoTEC plus range offers wall-hung and cascade arrangements. We’ll assess the heat required, available space and connected system before recommending a layout. The aim is a practical installation that your team can operate and we can access for maintenance.
The range, explained
Vaillant’s commercial offering is broader than one wall-hung boiler. The ecoTEC plus and ecoCRAFT families provide different ways to meet a building’s heat demand, with cascade arrangements where a single appliance is not the best fit.
Light commercial · wall hung
The light-commercial ecoTEC plus range includes 48 and 64kW models. A compact wall-hung arrangement can be useful where plant-room floor space is limited. We’ll compare the building’s demand with the existing system rather than simply match the output printed on the old boiler.
Commercial · wall hung
The larger ecoTEC plus range offers 80, 100 and 120kW models and can be arranged in cascades. Vaillant specifies a plate heat exchanger for these boilers. We include the surrounding pumps, separation and controls in the proposal so that the installation is planned as a complete system.
Commercial · floor standing
ecoCRAFT is Vaillant’s floor-standing commercial range, with models from 80 to 280kW. Its modular heat exchanger and cascade options provide a different starting point for a boiler-house replacement. We’ll check delivery access and the surrounding pipework before deciding whether it suits your premises.
Oxyplumb completed installation
A cascade shares demand between more than one boiler. The value comes from the whole arrangement: sequencing, hydraulic design and access, not simply adding another appliance. Our completed LTI Metaltech project shows how Vaillant boilers fit into a real commercial upgrade.

Designed around your building
A new Vaillant appliance needs the right water quality, hydraulic arrangement and controls to do its job. We’ll talk you through what can stay, what needs changing and how the work can be staged. If heating or hot water must remain available, raise that early so we can plan the changeover with you.

At LTI Metaltech in Milton Park, we installed two Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 64 kW boilers on a custom cascade frame around live offices. At Carterton Town Hall, our team replaced a failing boiler with a Vaillant ecoTEC plus 48 kW and hydraulic separation. These are completed projects, not proposed installations. Your premises may need a different arrangement, and that is where a proper assessment helps.
Care for your existing heating
If you already have Vaillant boilers, send the model details and service history where available. Tell us about any repeated lockouts, pressure loss or areas that struggle to warm up. We’ll discuss whether you need routine servicing or a visit to investigate a particular fault, rather than assume a replacement is necessary.
We’ll agree servicing around the manufacturer’s guidance, the installed equipment and how your premises operate. Any additional investigation, parts or remedial work will be discussed separately. You can also ask about a planned maintenance arrangement for the wider plant room.
