Beaconsfield Golf Club

Completed gas and heating upgrade

Project brief

The Oxyplumb Commercial team was appointed by long-standing commercial partner L Harvey and Son Limited, for whom the team carries out gas works, to support the full renovation of Beaconsfield Golf Club. The completed renovation included a new commercial-grade kitchen.

Phased gas works

1. A controlled gas-to-air purge, decommissioning of the old gas line and the relevant gas-services strip-out allowed the wider renovation team to proceed safely.
2. The team returned to install a new 76 mm Mapress stainless-steel gas main from the meter to the new kitchen island. The same main also serves the club’s existing gas fires.
3. A dedicated manifold supplies the commercial catering equipment through individual isolation points. The team completed a full air-to-gas purge for the new installation.

Boiler work

• One existing boiler reconnected and commissioned.
• Worcester Bosch 8000 Plus 30 kW system boiler serving the commercial kitchen hot-water system and changing-room heating zones.
• Worcester Bosch 4000 25 kW combi boiler serving the accommodation flat.

Completed upgrade

The Oxyplumb Commercial team completed the gas-main upgrade, kitchen-island manifold and boiler work for L Harvey and Son Limited. The installation brings together the commercial kitchen gas supply, changing-room heating and accommodation heating and hot water.
