School and workplace plant-room projects
At Mulberry Bush School, the work combined twin Firebird oil boilers, a bespoke hot-water cylinder, pumps and a plate heat exchanger. At LTI Metaltech, twin Vaillant boilers and a custom cascade frame were integrated with the existing building. Each project has its own requirements; the equipment selected for one site is not a standard package for every building.
Before you arrange the work
Can an existing plant room be upgraded in stages?
In some buildings, yes. Send any drawings or photos you have and tell us what must stay running. We can then discuss a workable sequence, access and any shutdowns that cannot be avoided.
Can you replace pumps and pressurisation equipment without replacing every boiler?
The scope can focus on specific failed or ageing components where appropriate. The Old Prebendal House project included Grundfos pumps, a Mikrofill unit and valves. The condition and connections of your installation determine what can be retained.
What makes a plant-room quotation easier to compare?
Check the equipment list, pipework, controls, electrical interfaces, insulation, access, shutdowns and commissioning responsibilities. Any work by others and the agreed exclusions should be clear before installation dates are arranged.

Yes. We can discuss replacing equipment and altering associated pipework within an existing plant room. A site review helps establish the work and access arrangements required.
