Information we collect
When you contact us, we may collect your name, company or organisation, email address, telephone number, customer status, site address, service requirement, message and any photographs or PDF files you choose to attach. We also process limited technical information needed to protect the form from spam and misuse.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, assess the requested work, prepare quotations, arrange visits, provide services, maintain business records and protect the website. Our usual lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business.
Who receives it
Information is available only to Oxyplumb staff and service providers who need it for these purposes. The website uses Cloudflare for hosting, security and anti-spam checks, and our email provider processes enquiry messages. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Unsuccessful or general enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up and understand previous contact. If an enquiry becomes a customer project, relevant records may be kept longer for contractual, accounting, insurance, warranty and legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to its use. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us first if you would like us to address a concern.
Security and attachments
We use access controls, encrypted connections, file-type and size checks, rate limits and an anti-spam service. Please send only information needed for your enquiry and do not attach confidential personal records.
