Wilo water-pressure systems in Oxfordshire

A reliable water supply starts with understanding the demand. We can help assess a Wilo booster installation, compare replacement options or investigate problems with an existing commercial set.

Explore the Wilo range

Multi-pump, single-pump and control options.

The SiBoost name covers different arrangements, while a smaller duty may call for a different Wilo set. We can help you compare the pumps and controls together, with a clear explanation of what happens when demand changes or a pump needs attention.

Equipment & application

Wilo SiBoost Smart Helix VE

This SiBoost arrangement uses variable-speed Helix VE pumps working as a coordinated set. We select the configuration around the required duty and discuss whether some capacity must remain available when a pump is out of service. Multiple pumps alone do not guarantee standby capacity.

  • Variable-speed multi-pump arrangement
  • Duty and resilience selected together

Worth discussing forCommercial premises with variable water demand.

Equipment & application

Wilo SiBoost Smart FC Helix V

The FC Helix V arrangement uses a frequency-converter control approach that differs from Helix VE. That distinction matters when comparing replacements and control strategies. We can identify the exact installed set and explain the proposed operating sequence before equipment is ordered.

  • Frequency-converter-controlled arrangement
  • Different configuration from Helix VE

Worth discussing forCommercial booster replacement and new multi-pump projects.

Equipment & application

Wilo Isar MODH1-1

Isar MODH1-1 is a compact single-pump boosting arrangement. We can investigate it for an appropriate smaller duty, with the model’s application and UK availability confirmed. Where water must remain available during a pump fault, the resilience requirement may point towards a different system.

  • Compact single-pump configuration
  • Application-specific selection

Worth discussing forAppropriate smaller pressure-boosting duties.

Equipment & application

Wilo Control SC-Booster

The controller is an important part of a booster installation, not just a box beside the pumps. For a compatible SC-Booster arrangement, we can discuss operating settings, fault indications and the required interface with the building. A replacement controller must match the installed pumps and system.

  • Booster-set control equipment
  • Match controls to the exact pump arrangement

Worth discussing forExisting booster sets and new installations requiring coordinated control.

From survey to handover

Wilo installation & replacement.

We’ll discuss peak demand, the highest or furthest outlets and any periods when water cannot be interrupted. The assessment should also consider storage and incoming-supply requirements. We can then set out the Wilo arrangement, connection work and commissioning responsibilities, with a practical changeover sequence.

What we’ll work through with you

  • Incoming flow and pressure measured while outlets are running
  • Simultaneous demand and pressure needed at the furthest outlets
  • Storage, backflow protection and water-undertaker requirements
  • Duty/standby needs, electrical supply, access and noise

Looking after existing equipment

Wilo servicing & fault investigation.

For an existing Wilo set, send the full model details and the displayed alarm where available. We can agree inspection of the pumps, pressure sensing, vessels and controls, with any additional repair work discussed separately. Changes in building use may call for a duty review as well as routine maintenance.

We’ll agree the visit and access requirements with you. Servicing follows the installed equipment’s requirements; any additional repair, specialist attendance or replacement parts are discussed as part of the scope. If you look after several buildings, ask us about planned maintenance.

Useful to know

Your Wilo questions.

Does a multi-pump set mean we always have a spare pump?

Not necessarily. All pumps may be required to meet the peak duty. We’ll establish whether standby capacity is needed and ensure the proposal states the intended operating arrangement.

What should I send when asking for a quote?

Send your postcode, a short description of the problem or planned work, and photographs of the equipment and its model plate. Tell us about any access restrictions and important operating times. We’ll help establish whether a site assessment is needed before preparing the proposal.
